how are you feeling, really?

Have you been avoiding to talk about your feelings due to the default judgement towards yourself thinking that your feelings are irrelevant, or that it’s not the right time to share? It feels a lot easier to disregard our true feelings and brush our responses under the carpet whenever we get asked, “how are you?”, or “how have you been?” especially by our close ones. But how are you, really?
