when you learn how to hold yourself to a higher standard, you become unstoppable

When I wrote about RTT being my “calling” a year ago, I meant every single word.

I believe one of the things that confirms this is the fact that I’ve been able to keep going every day without feeling like I’ve lost my sense of direction or purpose in life. Each day, I wake up feeling like I’m one step closer to where I want to be, where I’m meant to be.

Some people have even asked me how I manage everything, and honestly, I don’t! I choose very wisely what I put my energy into, including the people around me. I haven’t been as active as I would like to be (or used to be) on Instagram, as I enjoy being present and holding space for my clients, and being away from my phone, while continuously uplevelling my skillset, particularly my therapy toolkit, in order to offer the best experience for my clients as an RTT practitioner and hypnotherapist.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of finally meeting John Dewar to learn all about Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, or EMDR. A vast amount of research has shown that EMDR is an effective treatment for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and many other adverse life experiences that may have caused emotional distress.
