anger: a self-hypnosis piece

Even though I’m angry and upset,

I acknowledge and accept how I feel.

I understand that my needs weren’t met,

But in time I know I will heal.

Today I choose forgiveness and peace,

I let go of the tension from my body.

All this negative energy I choose to release,

Is allowing peace to flow through me.

P.S. Who would’ve thought that a disrespectful client could trigger me more than my partner whenever he loads the dishwasher wrong?

In all seriousness, these raw emotions are so fresh, the only way for me to calm my shaken body down earlier today was to write it all out and reframe my thoughts in the subconscious mind.

🧘‍♀️ I sat with it for about 10 minutes, inhaling and exhaling deeply while repeating these lines in my head.
