it’s okay to…

It’s okay to cry and let your tears run wild.
It’s okay if you can’t describe how you feel.
It’s okay to slowly process all your emotions.
It’s okay if you need more time to heal.

It’s okay if you haven’t figured it all out.
It’s okay to be a work in progress.
It’s okay to live a life not everyone understands.
It’s okay to feel different from the rest.

It’s okay to make some silly mistakes.
It’s okay to move on and start over.
You might not have found your success yet,
But at least now, you’re much, much closer.

In a world that praises perfection, money, and fame—a world that sets timelines for all the things you should achieve by a certain age—I have spent the past five years unlearning all of that.

I started my Instagram account at the end of last year to share my journey of becoming an RTT therapist when I decided to change my career path at the age of 32.

So, if you’re in your 30s, 40s, 50s, or beyond, this is for you—it’s never too late to start over, as long as what you do brings you closer to living your life’s purpose.

…and even if you still haven’t figured it all out, that’s okay too!

I hope you are proud of how far you’ve come, and I hope you know that what you’ve accomplished is already amazing. So, live life according to your own clock. I’m rooting for you!

With love and light,
Eve
